A client instructed a large provincial firm of solicitors to pursue a claim on her behalf where she sustained an injury at work.  Liability was admitted but unfortunately through the solicitor’s negligence the claim was struck out.

She instructed us to issue proceedings against the solicitors and we obtained their voluminous files and pursued a claim against the former solicitors through their insurers.

Their insurers initially made very poor offers but ultimately the claim was settled for considerably more than they had offered in the sum of £18,500.
